Derek Kastner: Began the site in 2007 after moving from the DC area to Lansing. The DC area offered a cornucopia of dining options that stretched his palate. Typically, one wouldn’t associate culinary variety with a mid-sized city in a midwestern state like Lansing. However, with a large university and its proximity to Detroit (and its sizable Middle Eastern population), a scratch below Lansing’s surface reveals a healthy variety of restaurants. Jack Lumanog: Joined the site in 2008 and moved to Lansing in 2007. A displaced Easterner (native of Hoboken, NJ), he is starting to feel at home in Greater Lansing. When not having pretentious conversations about food and wine, Jack also serves as the Pastor of Christ the King Anglican Church in DeWitt.
